Contact Form

Setting up the action to display a contact form.

To set up a contact form, go to the ‘actions’ tab when in your assistant’s main menu.

  1. Click ‘New Action’.

  2. Give your component a name and select ‘Display Contact Form’.

  3. Fill out the settings related to the contact form and click submit.

Settings Explanation

Trigger Keywords

Keywords that trigger the display of the form automatically.

Trigger Intents

Intents that the user may display that will cause the AI to show the form. For example ‘wants contact information’.

Display Instructions

Special instructions for displaying the form. For example:

‘Display this form when the user asks how to get in touch, request a quote, etc.

Configuration

Multi-Step Form: Shows each field one at a time.

Field Display/Hide: Allows you to hide or disable certain fields.

Placeholders: The text that is displayed as a placeholder on each field.

Notifications

Currently we only allow e-mail notifications except for on the Thrive plan.

Notification E-mail: The e-mail to receive notifications at.
